Condominium Buildings

Approximately 40 per cent or more of a condo’s ongoing operating costs go towards payments for gas, electricity and water charges. Most of the existing condo buildings are very old and can definitely be more energy efficient, if it is explained properly to the right people about the latest energy saving technologies and $$ savings that can be achieved by implementation of these technologies and some simple conservation measures.

In 2014-15, Enersource appointed Power Saving Systems Inc. as an official partner in order to conduct 60 Energy Audits for its customers in Mississauga. During this period, we had conducted energy audits in many Condo buildings. We also conducted seminars for the property managers and building owners about the Energy Audit and Energy Retrofit programs and the incentives they can get from Enersource Hydro Mississauga. The utility bills are easily the largest controllable expense for a condo corporation and the residents can see a drop in the Monthly Maintenance Fees with the Energy Efficiency Programs.
