Hospitality Sector is one of our core business segments, where we felt the necessity of creating awareness about the energy conservation. Hotel business runs 24/7 and energy demand is very high. Our initial goal was to meet the decision makers to present a viable energy efficiency solution to bring down their total kWh. We have successfully delivered our professional services to many of the hotels throughout the GTA. We have implemented number of Toronto Downtown projects closely working with Engineers from Toronto Hydro-Electric Systems Limited.

Energy is mostly wasted in hotels by heating and cooling the guest rooms that are unoccupied for a long period of time between 30% and 70% of the day, where the rooms are typically vacant as guests go for business or leisure. Continually running PTAC units in vacant rooms also increases the maintenance overhead and shortens the equipment’s working life. It all adds up to unnecessary waste and cost.

We are an advanced solution provider that deliver at all levels by controlling your HVAC usage and improving energy efficiency. We achieve this by using a combination of occupancy sensors, along with intelligent programmable thermostats or web-controlled packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) controllers, to adjust and maintain a room’s temperature according to occupancy, eliminating wasteful heating and cooling of unoccupied rooms. We are specialist Energy Management Company that delivers optimum energy savings without compromising occupant comfort.

All major hotels were contacted and lighting retrofits has been the low hanging fruits. Over a dozen also took advantage of the Small Business Lighting Program through bulk accounts for LED lighting. We changed all the old PTAC units at The Strathcona Hotel and also added web-controlled Room Energy Management System with PLC Controls and Infrared motion sensors.
